Walk for Rowan success

“We were delighted with the turnout for this year’s Walk for Rowan” said Rowan’s Chief Executive Officer Cherie Evans. “We would like to say thank you to everyone who attended as well as the staff at Jesus Green Outdoor Pool for hosting for tea and cake from the CamCatSol Café. It was wonderful to speak to Rowan’s supporters as well as welcoming the Cambridge Mayor Cllr Jenny Gawthrope. Thanks to the volunteers from Cambridge Rotary Club for stewarding the event and to our sponsors Martin & Co Cambridge.”

“I was very happy to come along, meet and enjoy the walk with supporters and friends of Rowan and enjoy the cake and coffee afterwards” said Cambridge Mayor Cllr Jenny Gawthrope.  “Rowan is a great local charity here in Cambridge serving the community, with a lovely atmosphere and so valuable for its clients.”
