Super Fundraisers!

Rowan is lucky enough to be chosen as Charity of the Year for Irwin Mitchell’s Cambridge office. Since January they have organised a variety of events and activities to raise money for Rowan. In the last month they have jumped out of a plane and completed a Tough Mudder!

In June Samantha Shaw and Katie Sinclair, jumped out of the plane at 10,000 feet above Sibson Airfield, Wansford.  The two were accompanied by Mirka Anderson, whose daughter, Emma, has been coming to Rowan for 12 years!

Samantha said: “Although I was very nervous in the build up to the jump, knowing I was doing it to raise money for such a worthy cause helped me get to the door of the plane. Once I jumped, it was a tremendous experience and one that I thoroughly enjoyed.”

On Sunday 8th July Huw Butler, Rosie Stafford, Katie Sinclair and Katie Gilhooly all completed a Tough Mudder – yes a tough mudder in this heat! Well done and thank you to each and every one of you. Rowan is so grateful for your enthusiasm and your support. We cannot wait to see what else you do over the next six months!
