Running for Rowan

Running for Rowan

Becca Adams web
On Sunday 28 February Becca Adams will be running the Cambridge Half Marathon, raising funds for Rowan.
Becca is one of our amazing supporters who has known Rowan for a number of years. Currently she supports a student who attends Rowan once a week. Originally training as artist, Becca enables the student to get to and from Rowan, supporting them in the studio to produce some fantastic art work. Her dedication, positivity and determination has had a real impact, not only on this one particular student, but also on a number of others who are in the same studio. The student has shown enormous progression and recently exhibited a large work in the ‘Art Makes You Powerful’ exhibition last October 2015.

“I have seen first hand the positive impact Rowan has on individuals, it really is an amazing place. This year, Rowan is going to be redeveloping their premises to improve accessibility for students, and to create a new music and drama workshop spaces. If you would like to support me in raising money for this truly deserving charity I would be extremely grateful. Rowan is about to undergo some big and beneficial changes so any donations would be extremely valuable.”

If you would like to support Becca running the half-marathon, please donate to her Localgiving page and come along to the marathon to cheer her on.

Many thanks, and if you fancy coming along to cheer me on as well that would be awesome!!
