Rowan hands

One of Rowan’s students has, with her friends, created a new work of art for display.

She says:

“My idea was to get everybody to work together. Overall the work of art is to make people feel welcome, particularly new people. Hands from staff, students and volunteers have been used to draw around, after which the hand-drawing has been cut out and a work of art created, with each hand named after the person it came from. I wanted to create a rainbow with the hands over the top joining together as a kind of welcome and wave.”
