In this 8-week course you will work in graphite, colour pencil and ink to realistically depict detailed drawings of plants, their flowers and fruits. You’ll then use your drawings as a basis to explore a variety of other techniques, including lino printing, to create unique botanical artwork. After developing basic drawing and observational skills, and experimenting with different media, you will have the option to work on an individual project with the expert guidance of the tutor.
Materials provided
All materials are included, but you are welcome to bring your own tools or images for inspiration.
Who can attend
The course is suitable for all levels from beginner to those with drawing and/or botanical knowledge. Participants must be over 18 years old.
