The countdown to our 4th annual art exhibition is on!
The exhibition will be held at The Leys School over the 18 and 19 February. We will be open to the public and attendees will have the opportunity to purchase artworks.
Entitled ‘Together’, the exhibition showcases the work of local artists who have produced artworks inspired by being together. Every piece, whether by amateur or professional, will sell for £45.
“Rowan’s annual art exhibition is all about the community” says Rose Bloomfield, Fundraising and Events Manager at Rowan. “Everyone is invited to enter a piece of artwork whether you are a beginner or a well-known artist. All the artwork on sale will be anonymous and sold for the same price, allowing everyone to get involved. Every year we are blown away by the artwork produced and this year is no different.”
The event, which is free to attend, will also feature a silent auction of work donated by established artists from all over the UK as well as a pop-up shop of artwork created at Rowan.
Local artist Lorraine Brown has been involved in the past three charity art exhibitions and said; “For me entering the Rowan Art Exhibition is a brilliant way to kick-start some art making on a ‘theme’ and also great fun to see the diversity of work on display.”
Rowan’s annual art exhibition is open 10am – 3pm, 18 – 19 February 2023, at The Leys School, The Fen Causeway, Cambridge, CB2 7AD. Entry is free. For more information visit www.rowanhumberstone.co.uk or call 01223 566027.
